Woodland & Davis Welcome Several New Providers to Growing List of Experts and Specialists

Dignity Health Medical Foundation – Woodland and Davis has announced the addition of several new expert health care providers, with specialties in neurology, oncology, pediatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology.

Mark Agius, MDWith more than 40 years of clinical experience, Mark Agius, MD, specializes in neurology, neuro-immunology, and multiple sclerosis (MS). Prior to joining Dignity Health Medical Foundation and Woodland Clinic Medical Group, Dr. Agius was Professor and Chief, Neuro-Immunology Division, Department of Neurology, at the Barrow Neurological Institute. He was also a professor of neurology at University of California, Davis for 24 years. Dr. Agius graduated from the University of Malta Medical School and completed his residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his fellowship in neuro-immunology from the University of Chicago. Dr. Agius is now accepting new patients.

Joyce Loeffler, MDJoyce Loeffler, MD, joins Dignity Health Medical Foundation and Woodland Clinic Medical Group as a board certified urologist. Dr. Loeffler previously practiced at the Rideout Urology Clinic in Yuba City and has more than 26 years of experience. She received her medical degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and completed her residency at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Loeffler is currently accepting new patients looking for general clinical and surgical urology care in Woodland.

Sarah Favila AD-913533-edited.jpgSarah Favila, MD, and Brian Nguyen, DO, join Dignity Health Medical Foundation and Woodland Clinic Medical Group as pediatricians. Dr. Favila received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Brian Nguyen, DO.jpgDr. Nguyen received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathis Medicine and completed residency training at Authority Health – Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, at the Children’s Hospital of Medicine. Drs. Favila and Nguyen are accepting new patients in Woodland.

Nathaniel Ngo, MDNathaniel Ngo, MD, and Amira Zaid, MD, join the women’s health team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation – Woodland and Davis as board certified Obstetricians/Gynecologists (OB/GYNs). Dr. Ngo received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed his residency at the University of New Mexico.

Amira Zaid, MDDr. Zaid received her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Both are accepting new patients.
