The IHA is a statewide nonprofit group committed to high-value care that improves quality and affordability for patients across the nation.

Dignity Health Medical Network – Santa Cruz and Dignity Health Mercy Medical Group were two of just a few physician organizations in California to receive the 2021 Excellence in Healthcare Award, California’s top honor for provider organizations, from the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) for its top performance in clinical quality, patient experience and cost measures.

The American Medical Association (AMA) recognized Dignity Health Mercy Medical Group as one of 44 health care organizations to receive the 2021 Joy in Medicine™ Health System Recognition Program award. This distinction recognizes Dignity Health Mercy Medical Group with a demonstrated commitment to preserving the well-being of health care team members by engaging in proven efforts to combat work-related stress and burnout.

Mercy Medical Group has been awarded Elite Status from America's Physician Groups (APG), the nation's leading professional association for accountable physician groups. Mercy Medical Group is one of just 80 organizations nationally to achieve Elite Status (the highest recognition) in 2020.

Elite Status is earned through participation in APG's Standards of Excellence Survey, which analyzes physician groups' performances in improving patient experience, clinical care and affordability of care.
