National Women Physicians Day on February 3rd commemorates the birthday of Elizabeth Blackwell, MD, the first woman in the United States to become a doctor. As we reflect on and celebrate the achievements of women in medicine, we asked our providers to share what inspired them to choose a career in healing and humankindness. Here is what they said.

Dignity Health Medical Group has announced that they have expanded their pediatric services in Aptos with the addition of longtime Aptos residents and highly-regarded pediatricians Cory Parello, MD and Jill Parello, MD. They will also be joined by Dignity Health Medical Group pediatrician Stephanie Graziani, DO to offer expanded pediatric access and services to the community at 105 Post Office Drive, Ste F. in Aptos.

Dignity Health Medical Group – Inland Empire has announced the appointment of Jose Arciniega, DO, as Medical Director. In this role, Dr. Arciniega will be responsible for development of medical policy that continues to prioritize patient-centered care, quality assurance, clinical practice guidelines, as well as physician recruitment and review.

Mercy Medical Group, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is now offering pediatric care in Folsom. The new Mercy Medical Group pediatric offices are located at 1561 Creekside Drive, Suite 150 and include more than 5,000 square feet of space, including 12 exam rooms.
