Q: Dignity Health Medical Group chose Tehachapi for their newest clinic location. What drew you to this community?
A: We are so honored to provide primary care to the Tehachapi community with our new clinic location at 707 West Valley Blvd. We have served Kern County for a long time, and we knew that Tehachapi was a fantastic, engaged community. When Dr. Pesche, who formerly practiced in the space, was looking to retire he approached us and we jumped at the chance to continue his legacy with patient-centered, high-quality care!
This is really an exciting expansion for us. We’ve invested $1.6 million in Tehachapi with our new location, three providers, and amazing care team — and we have plans to continue to grow!

Q: What services does this new location offer?
A: Our three providers and amazing care team offer primary care for men, women and children of all ages. This includes appointments for sports injuries, school physicals, diabetes management, women’s health, ache s, chills, fevers – really any primary care need! We accept most major insurances, and our staff are happy to verify individual insurance over the phone.
We’re committed to delivering health care with humankindness. Our providers take a very individualized approach to care and we are set up to help all members of the community. We’re all about keeping our patients happy, healthy, and whole.
Q: What are the clinic hours?
A: We are excited to offer extended hours, same-day appointments, walk-in appointments, and online scheduling. Our goal is to serve the community when and where they need care, and in the most convenient way. Patients can book appointments until 7 p.m., check out provider ability online, walk in and see us, or book an appointment conveniently online or over the phone.
