Dignity Health Medical Group – North State is pleased to announce its acquisition of Hilltop Medical Clinic, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to maintaining access to healthcare within the community. Hilltop Medical Clinic will become Dignity Health Urgent Care on June 21, 2025, and will open for patients June 30, 2025.
This integration will ensure the continuation of expert urgent care services for the Redding community, with expanded access to a comprehensive network of specialists and resources.
Patients can continue to see the same trusted physicians and advanced practice providers they know from Hilltop Medical Clinic. In addition, they will now benefit from streamlined access to Dignity Health's comprehensive network, including Mercy Medical Center Redding, Mercy Regional Cancer Center, Dignity Health Advanced Imaging, and Dignity Health Medical Group – North State.
The urgent care clinic will remain at its current location at 1093 Hilltop Drive in Redding. The clinic will offer extended hours:
Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To facilitate the transition, the clinic will be temporarily closed from June 21 to June 29. During this brief closure, patients needing immediate medical attention should contact their primary care physician or visit Mercy Medical Center in Redding. For medical emergencies, please dial 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency department. Dignity Health Urgent Care will open for patients on June 30, 2025.
