The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recently drafted a recommendation lowering the age for when women should begin getting screened for breast cancer. The proposed recommendation lowers the age from 50 to age 40 to reduce their risk of dying from the disease.

Dignity Health Advanced Imaging (DHAI) is proud to announce a new site located at 1050 Iron Point Rd, in Folsom. This convenient location services the Folsom, El Dorado Hills and greater Sacramento communities, providing residents with increased access to high-quality imaging services. The clinic is now seeing patients, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early stages of breast cancer often have no symptoms, so with over 281,550 cases predicted for 2021, recommended regular screenings have the potential to save thousands of lives.

Introducing Dignity Health Advanced Imaging (DHAI), the new branding of Mercy Imaging Centers. Along with the name change, DHAI announces a newly enhanced partnership agreement with Hill Physicians Medical Group (HPMG). As of January 1, 2021, DHAI is now the primary, preferred imaging provider for HPMG patients with Western Health Advantage (WHA) insurance. As such, all HPMG patients with Western Health Advantage will only be referred to DHAI or independent imaging locations.
