Dignity Health Medical Foundation has announced that Redding native Roxanne Bullock has been promoted to Director of Operations for Dignity Health Medical Group – North State. In this role, Bullock will lead operations for seven clinics located in Redding and Red Bluff.

Last Friday afternoon, a group of employees from Dignity Health Medical Group – Bakersfield, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, set out to deliver 120 sack lunches to the homeless. The employees raised money, purchased items, packed the lunches, and then delivered them firsthand.

Physicians at California health care-provider Dignity Health are using Google Inc.’s Glass to double the amount of time they spend seeing patients daily. The wearable computer is outfitted with software that automatically enters data generated during exams into electronic medical records. Physicians say the technology reduces by more than two-thirds the time spent documenting patient visits.
